More than 70 countries in the world have now or are planning to develop nuclear power, including more than 40 countries along the “Belt and Road” and more than 10 countries are planning to develop. It is estimated that by the year 2020, about 130 new nuclear power plants will be built worldwide, and by 2030 this number will reach about 300 units. Among them, the “Belt and Road” countries and neighboring countries will account for about 80% of the new units. In the process of China’s entry into the international nuclear power market, strengthening standardization is also an important means to enhance competitiveness.
